The data has been consistent for five years: B2B audiences will give you 60 seconds of attention they would never give a wall of body copy.
But B2B video done badly is worse than no video. The sea of identical drone-shot manifesto reels with bombastic VO and stock orchestral music has trained buyers to skip past anything that looks rented. The brief is to make a film that sounds and looks like your company actually made it — not a generic agency reel with your logo dropped in at the end.
We do that by treating each brand film as a piece of journalism. A senior producer interviews stakeholders, drafts the script, and runs a pre-production conversation that pushes back on the parts that sound like marketing. A polished single-day, single-subject brand film with a senior NYC crew typically lands $15,000–$25,000. The most-booked tier — a 2-day shoot with director, DP, and 4-person crew — runs $30k–$45k. Multi-city anthology series start at $60k. The 2025 NYC DP day-rate band is $1,525 (median) to $2,640 (senior) per AICP and Assignment Desk public rate cards.
How long does the production take end-to-end?
Four to six weeks is standard. Pre-production (interviews, script, location scout) takes 1–2 weeks, the shoot is 1–3 days, and post-production runs 2–3 weeks (assembly, picture lock, color grade, sound mix, music license). Rush is possible at 3 weeks for a 25–35% surcharge.
What camera and audio package do you shoot with?
Our default A-camera is the Sony FX6 with a Sony G Master prime kit (24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm). Premium tier is an ARRI Alexa Mini LF with Cooke S4i primes. Audio is Sennheiser MKH 416 boom plus Lectrosonics SMV-DBu lavaliers, recorded to a Sound Devices MixPre-6 II at 24-bit/48kHz with timecode synced via Tentacle Sync E.
Do you write the script?
Yes. A senior producer leads stakeholder interviews, drafts a narrative outline, and refines the script through 1–2 rounds with you before the shoot. Most clients use this as their writers' room — we surface the lines that actually sound like the company.
Can we use the footage for paid ads?
Yes. Every project ships with perpetual, worldwide, unlimited usage rights — including paid social, OTT, broadcast, and out-of-home. Music licenses are issued in your company's name when feasible and at master-buyout rates otherwise.
Do you produce vertical / 9:16 social cuts?
Always. Every brand film ships with a 16:9 master, a 9:16 vertical cut, a 1:1 LinkedIn-native cut, and a 30-second teaser. Vertical cuts are recomposed (not center-cropped) so subjects stay properly framed.
