We help. Our intake call with the customer is also a soft pitch — we explain what's expected, how short the on-camera time is (typically 60 minutes), and what they get (a polished video they can also share). Our customer agreement rate runs above 80% on engagements where the brand has the relationship and we make the ask.
What about legal review on the customer's side?
Built into the workflow. We deliver a Frame.io review link to the customer's comms or legal lead before public publish, with timecoded comment ability. Most customer legal teams clear in 5–7 business days. We hold publication until you have written sign-off.
Can you handle remote-only customers?
Yes. Our hybrid workflow ships a controlled kit (camera, lights, audio, monitor, prepaid return shipping) to the customer and runs the shoot live on Zoom with our director. Frame.io C2C uploads camera files during the shoot so we can review picture and sound in real time. Most clients can't tell the difference between our on-site and remote testimonials.
How is this priced — per video or per retainer?
Either. One-off testimonials are $4,800 starting. Quarterly retainers (3 testimonials/quarter) start at $14,400 — a 17% discount per video, plus a quarterly highlight reel and a dedicated producer. Most clients move to retainer by the second engagement.
Do you handle the script or the questions?
Questions, not scripts. We never put words in a customer's mouth — that's how testimonials end up sounding fake. We design a question set, sequence it for the Problem → Trigger → Implementation → Outcome arc, and direct the customer toward concrete numbers. The result reads as a real conversation because it is one.
